Camera & Core Features Privacy
The core mirroring functionality of Smart Mirror is designed to operate locally on your device with complete privacy:
Camera Access
- Accesses your front-facing camera to display a real-time mirror view.
- The camera feed is displayed directly on your screen and is never recorded or saved to your device's gallery.
- We do not upload or transmit your image to any external servers.
Freeze Feature
- When you freeze the mirror, a temporary image is stored in your device's active memory (RAM) only.
- This temporary image is immediately deleted when you unfreeze the view or close the application.
Face Detection (Optional)
- Uses Google ML Kit to adjust features based on facial positioning.
- All processing occurs locally on your device. No facial recognition or identification is performed, and no facial data is stored or transmitted.
Data Collection and Third-Party Services
To keep Smart Mirror free to use, we integrate third-party advertising services that automatically collect certain technical data.
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. By using our App, you acknowledge that Google and its partners may collect and process data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, provide analytics, and prevent fraud. The data collected automatically includes:
- Device or other IDs: Advertising identifiers used to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance.

- Why: Required by our advertising partners to fetch and display banner and interstitial ads.
Data Storage & Deletion
Because we do not require users to create accounts, ENB Apps does not maintain a centralized database of your personal information. Minor UI preferences (such as overlay visibility) are saved locally on your device using standard Android SharedPreferences.
You maintain control over your data by:
- Revoking the camera permission at any time in your device's system settings.
- Uninstalling the app, which will instantly remove all locally stored preferences.
- Managing your advertising identifier preferences directly through your Android device settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads).
